L’augmentation de 5,6 % du National Living Wage (SMIC) qui avait \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9vue sera ramen\u00e9e \u00e0 seulement 2 % pour pr\u00e8s de deux millions de travailleurs.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

On s’attend \u00e0 ce que Rishi Sunak annule l’augmentation propos\u00e9e de 5 % du National Living Wage (SMIC). C\u2019est ainsi que les moins bien pay\u00e9s subiront de plein fouet les effets de la r\u00e9duction budg\u00e9taire.<\/p>\n

\u00c0 la suite des annonces selon lesquelles la\u00a0r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration du secteur public doit \u00eatre gel\u00e9e, les travailleurs du secteur priv\u00e9 peuvent \u00e9galement s’attendre \u00e0 des nouvelles sombres cette semaine, car les taux horaires – qui devaient augmenter \u00e0 9,21 \u00a3 de l’heure en avril – seront ramen\u00e9s \u00e0 8,90 \u00a3 de l’heure, une augmentation de seulement 2% au lieu de 5,6% pr\u00e9vue.<\/p>\n

Selon un rapport de la Low Pay Commission, une pleine augmentation du niveau du National Living Wage (SMIC), qui est de 8,72\u00a3\/l\u2019heure, serait top co\u00fbteux.<\/p>\n

Dans le budget de mars, que M. Sunak avait donn\u00e9 \u00e0 la commission, les taux de salaire propos\u00e9s \u00e9taient dans le cas o\u00f9 les conditions \u00e9conomiques le permettent, d’ici 2024, le taux l\u00e9gal atteindrait les deux tiers du salaire m\u00e9dian.<\/p>\n
